She Beckons

{Neil Gaiman's The Sandman comics series}

This one is heavily influenced by Art Nouveau. I'm a big fan of Alphonse Mucha and was going through one of my Mucha phases when I drew this. The autumn-inspired wreath thing on the background was to add warmth on what started as a mostly monochromatic watercolor piece. That, and I felt like autumn suited Neil Gaiman's Death better than winter.
